Organization of Social Services in Poverty (OSSP)

OSSP was founded by a group of activists and educated Afghan men and women from northern Afghanistan with diverse ethnic backgrounds who rallied together and to address the lack of facilities for Afghanistan impoverished society, have been working in the field of development and society empowerment and cooperation. The same group of activists have already in the past established an NGO, and carried out different social programs. OSSP was formed according to the willingness of the community people in a view to deal with the present socio-economic problems in different villages by means of good understanding and sharing the problems each other and to find out the best way of solving the problems through free discussion and people participation in the decision making and get-together under an umbrella of OSSP Organization. 

In more concrete term, topically our primary focus would thus be on the poor people empowerment, women empowerment (e.g. refugee empowerment, education, health care, gender equality and etc.), physical security and society empowerment as these are the issues, which undermine most dramatically the legitimacy of the Afghanistan. OSSP is an organization which work for refugees which unplaced because of war, and also provide them food, apparel, education, and health care service. Moreover, OSSP women empowerment team are working for promoting women in educational, health care field. it is our intention to conduct high-quality, methodologically through investigation on the above mentioned areas. Research and analyze is, however, only the first step. Based on our research we shall develop construction suggestions to solve the identified problems. Lastly, we intend to dedicate significate efforts to dissemination our findings for our solution.
