    Northwest Settlement House (NWSH) serves the community helping to provide information referral, social support services to strenghten the community, and break down barriers and improve the quality of life for families.

    NWSH is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency is dedicated to serving low-income individuals and families in the District of Columbia metropolitan area from infancy to senior citizenship in the areas of developmental day care, youth services, senior services, and neighborhood development. NWSH provides programs designed to encourage and guide persons to work toward self-improvement and independence.
