    Safer Alternatives thru Networking in Education (SANE) is a non-profit harm reduction agency located in Sacramento, CA. Our services include; a needs-based Syringe Exchange Program, distribution of safer sex supplies, HIV & HCV testing, education and referral, overdose prevention education, outreach to people experiencing homelessness and a low barrier Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. SANE employs in all its efforts the principles of humanism, harm reduction, and respect for human rights and dignity.
