Friends of Camp Little Notch

The camp property is 443 acres of rustic Adirondack wilderness including an 8-acre lake. There is a gravity-fed water system which includes miles of pvc pipes, a variety of buildings, two of which were built in the 1940s, and a Civil War era iron blast furnace is on the property.

Camp Little Notch was founded in 1939, and as a girls' summer camp, we have a long history of volunteer involvement. Little Notch was sold by the Girl Scouts to the non-profit Friends of CLN, who have continued the tradition of old-school rustic summer camp experiences for girls, and expanded it to include site rentals for weddings, retreats, workshops and meetings. We are a tiny non-profit and depend on volunteers to help us out.

Corporations, organizations, and schools are welcome to get groups together to help maintain the property or raise some funds to buy paint and supplies. We have a lively Facebook page and make sure our helpers are generously thanked.

There are tasks for every level of skill. Families are welcome! We make sure you have time to play as well as work.
