    To provide comprehensive resettlement assistance to endangered wartime allies who served U.S. interests in conflict and war zones.

    About Us

    Thanks to our community partners and volunteers, ​KOP offers the following resettlement services to our wartime allies:

    • Find & furnish apartments
    • Offer Caring Circles for families to navigate their new lives in Rochester.
    • Assist in employment readiness, and referral to employment services.
    • Upon completion of 100 community volunteer hours, KOP offers a modest car grants so SIVs can get to work.
    • Partner with local programs offering free skilled trades programs and English classes.

    Since 2014, KOP and our generous community has made the following impact:

    • 285 SIV families have been provided with fully furnished apartments (25 of which have gone on to become homeowners)
    • 174 SIV families received Wheels for Work-Car/Grants
    Keeping our Promise is the 2022 Winner of the Best of Rochester Award in the category of Non-Profit Organization!
