Founded in 2011, Karibu Tanzania Safaris and Volunteering Limited is a local social enterprise aiming at creating lasting changes to society by recruiting volunteers from different parts of the world, both students and professionals, and assigning them to different developmental programs in several institutions in Arusha, Tanzania. We accept all volunteers from different backgrounds, countries, and cultures.

We work in close collaboration with the Government, local NGOs, and social services organizations including health centers, orphanages, children centers, HIV institutions, Law firms, and Construction firms. All programs and activities are carried out in the Arusha region.

Just to summarize, we work with (here in Arusha):

·        Eight Orphanages - we’ve reached more than 300 unprivileged children.

·        Three Hospitals - participating in maternal health care, nursing, and many other activities.

·        Two Law Firms - participating in all legal matters that they handle and court experiences.

·        Two government primary schools and one private English Medium primary school - they have teaching programs and more than 600 pupils.

Our offices and Apartments are located at Sinoni Daraja-Mbili, Arusha in Tanzania. Our Apartments offer all meals; breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They can accommodate up to 120 volunteers at once. We guarantee the safety of volunteers’ properties within our premises by providing 24 hours security. Our programs are available all year round and include teaching projects, HIV/AIDS awareness projects, Medical projects, Midwives/Nursing projects, Legal aids, and human rights awareness projects as well as construction projects.
