Langley Residential Support Services

Langley Residential Support Services serves adults with developmental disabilities, their families and our communities by providing quality, comprehensive residential and community support services. We believe everyone deserves the chance to live a rich, full life.

The men and women with developmental disabilities we support have been diagnosed with varying degrees of cognitive impairment, which impacts their ability to process information and acquire certain skills. With proper supports, these individuals can learn many things; it may just take them more time and effort. However, the need for these supports is continual and this is why Langley exists.

According to the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, “the most modern thinking about how to help people with intellectual disabilities…is to tailor supports for each individual, in the form of a set of strategies and services provided over a sustained period.” The primary goal in providing these supports should be to improve the individual’s level of functioning within their current environment so that he/she will be able to be as successful as possible. 

We provide these supports as a vendor of the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB). For more than 30 years, families, our community and the CSB have trusted Langley to help people with developmental disabilities reach their potential.
