Community Fort Foundation
No. 350 A, Thalangama North,
VolunTouring Programmes of the Community Fort Foundation will help to self finance all CFF projects, aiming to bring about healthy equilibrium between human communities and natural ecosystems.
Community Fort Foundation (CFF) launches these projects together with its brother organisation ‘Cli-Mates Travels & Tours (Pvt) Ltd’, a tourism organisation based in Sri Lanka for ‘Climate-Justice Tourism’. Cli-Mates is the fundraising tool of CFF.
VolunTours are the coupled programmes of volunteering opportunities annexed with a CoolLeasure or CoolAdventure Tours of Cli-Mates. Instead, you can select just volunteering programmes. All volunteering programmes are subject to availability. We are striving to offer internships as well, wherever & whenever possible.
Whether you are a gap-year candidate, a teenager, a youth, an academic or an adult who is more than 16 years of age, our ‘VolunTours’ paves the way for assured success and satisfaction in your academic, professions & personal goals in the miraculous tropical paradise of Sri Lanka. Volunteering in our projects will expand horizons of your life to face tougher challenges while ensuring fantastic entertainment. Our programmes foster you uniquely worthwhile experiences from a truly hospitalized and internationally exposed civilisation throughout 2,500 years long history.
Our key themes are flora & fauna conservation, ecosystems conservation, climate change combatting, socio-economic uplift and eco-adventuring. However, we are offering projects which are commonly popular among volunteers (such as internships in wildlife orphanages, hospitals, adult care centers & nurseries as well as language teaching internships). The specialty of our programmes is that we do not congest volunteers at the same places that the other volunteering organisations abundantly using, unless in extremely unavoidable cases. We are continuously screening, studying and preparing projects for all the possible opportunities for volunteering throughout the country.
Our organisations possess capable intellectuals and professionals with a diversity of socio-politico-legal-&-state administrative and management contacts and support to facilitate a range of competitively effective, internationally standard volunteering opportunities in all over the country of Sri Lanka. We assign a local coordinator for each project.
Our prime concerns are hygiene, quality food, quality ambience and security at accommodation as well as security of volunteers from their arrival at the airport to the end of the contracted period or (if the total journey is only for volunteering with us, then up to) departure.
We welcome volunteers all over the world; even a slight knowledge in English is sufficient to accomplish your respected objective. You must have valid travel and medical insurances in possession to join in our programmes.
