CLAREMONT MEALS ON WHEELS

  • Mission

Since 1973, Claremont Meals on Wheels has operated as a private, nonprofit, all-volunteer organization and community service. We deliver nutritious, hot mid-day meals Monday through Friday (with Saturday meal, if ordered) to older homebound adults, persons with disabilities, those recovering from surgery, and other persons who have no alternative source of meals.

    About Us

Claremont Meals on Wheels will celebrate 45 years of providing service to Claremont on July 28, 2018. It was incorporated as the Pomona Valley Meals on Wheels and later changed its name to Claremont Meals on Wheels once the neighboring cities of Pomona, La Verne and San Dimas initiated their MOW programs.

We are an all-volunteer organization with approximately 120 volunteers who pack and deliver meals to our clients. The meals are prepared by the kitchens of Mt San Antonio Gardens, who graciously has supported our efforts by providing low cost nutritious meals, as well as providing space for our operation. Last year over 12,000 meals were delivered to Claremont and north Pomona residents.
