About Us
Hands to Help is in the Portage Park/Irving Park neighborhood. We serve familes and individuals with rental assistance and housing issues. We also assist the homeless with rescourses to navigate their situation and attempt to attain future goals and dreams. We are based on Christian values, in clothing and feeding the needy, listening and giving encouragement and dignity to those who normally do not recieve respect due to their situation. We give rental assistance through a process of board approval and if a family/individual has a finacial plan to live independently for the future. We focus on the zip codes of 60641 and 60618 for rental assistance. We also serve approximately 100-120 people in a year to help support homeless and housing crisis issues.
