2.6M New Yorkers cannot afford a Thanksgiving meal. Tonight 63,101 people will sleep in NYC shelters and 15,553 families will sleep in homeless shelters.
FeedingNYC is an 18 year annual hunger relief program in New York that empowers people and changes lives. A box with the ingredients to cook a Thanksgiving meal is sent to families in need. This year, we are sending over 8000 boxes. Volunteer event to put together the boxes takes place at Chelsea Piers.
