Mission
At Bike 4 A Cause, our mission is to promote bike safety, health, and community engagement through education, advocacy, and inclusive events. We believe that every cyclist—whether a child learning to ride or a seasoned rider—deserves safe streets, respect on the road, and opportunities to connect through cycling.
About Us
Bike 4 A Cause is a Ventura-based nonprofit dedicated to fostering a happier, healthier, and safer community through cycling. Founded to bridge the gap between advocacy and action, we host free events that educate, empower, and unite cyclists of all ages.
Our Key Initiatives:
- Bike Safety Parade - A public demonstration promoting road safety and cyclist awareness, held in major events like the Ventura St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
- Learn 2 Ride Day - Teaching kids and families to ride safely using the Grassy Hill Method, with certificates signed by the Mayor of Ventura.
- Spring 2025 Bike Trail Competition - A free all-ages competition where riders can earn trophies, milestone prizes, and track personal progress.
- Community Outreach & Education - Distributing safety leaflets to educate drivers on new laws requiring a 6-foot passing distance for cyclists.
