  • Mission

    Kauai Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non profit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat has built more than 300,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1.5 million people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter. In the United States there currently are more than 2,300 affiliates.

    Kaua`i Habitat for Humanity Celebrates 248th Home Built on Kaua`i -

    Ele`ele, HI; June 2023 -- Kaua`i Habitat for Humanity celebrated the completion of its Eleele Iluna Subdivision.

    Waimea Hua Kai-- We have completed 18 of the 32 homes in Waimea.

    Milani Pimental, Executive Director, said "The need for affordable homes on Kaua`i is as great as ever. There are over 1,300 Kaua`i residents interested in partnering with us to build a house they can afford." "It's clear to everyone that Kaua`i needs more affordable homes built, "We pledge to do our part in resolving Kauai's affordable hosing crisis.
