  • About Us

C.E.O. Women’s mission is to help transform the lives of Bay Area low-income immigrant and refugee women in becoming economically self-sufficient and integrated members of society. An Oakland-based non-profit organization, C.E.O. Women operates a successful micro-enterprise (small business development) training program. Its unique feature is the use of Vocational English as a Second Language (VESL) to build business communication skills and English literacy within the context of entrepreneurship, in order to help immigrant women start small businesses.
