  • Mission

Old Skool Cafe is a faith-based, violence prevention program, that provides job training, employment and a second chance at life by way of a 1920’s speakeasy, jazz restaurant, run by at-risk, formerly incarcerated and foster care youth ages 16-22. For over twenty years, Old Skool Cafe has provided jobs, training, mentorship, and community for at-risk, formerly incarcerated, and foster care teens and young adults. We don’t want them to simply clock in— we want to help youth show up whole.

    About Us

Old Skool Cafe is a one-of-a-kind youth-run supper club. We train and employ at-risk youth, ages 16-22, to run all aspects of the business. Learning to be hosts, servers, chefs and entertainers, we offer youth a solution for addressing their basic needs and break the cycle of poverty and incarceration. We provide a supportive environment to help youth maintain employment and be successful in all aspects of their lives.
