MACON COUNTY CASA NFP

  • Mission

The mission of Macon County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is to provide court appointed volunteers to advocate for the abused, neglect, and/or dependent children who involved in the Macon County juvenile court system.

    About Us

Macon County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) recruits and trains community volunteers from Macon and DeWitt Counties to be the voice and advocate for the best interests of local foster children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. Our trained volunteers, with the support of CASA staff , focus on each child's unique situation and advocate for their best interests in court and in the community. CASA volunteers and staff are the only ones in the foster care system who concentrate solely on the needs of the children. This best-interest advocacy makes a life-changing difference and helps ensure our children are in safe, loving, permanent homes where they can thrive,
