  • Mission

Organized Kaos (OK) exists to disciple young people in life and trade, bringing them together to encourage hope and purpose. It offers a safe environment for young people to work and learn alongside skilled trades persons from local churches.

    About Us

Organized Kaos (OK) works with youth, ages 13-17, in the Brantford community, no matter demographic, race, gender or background. Our tradespeople teach youth in hands-on approach, maintaining a low ratio of one tradesperson to two students. It is a side-by-side mentorship, not an upfront teaching. Projects create a common ground and break down barriers in a casual setting, bringing opportunity to teach life skills, trades skills and employability skills. OK strives to bring the youth of Brantford out of a cycle of poverty and school drop-out.

Organized Kaos operates 4 nights a week at our shop in Brantford, 399 West St.

Organized Kaos offers 8-week specialty programs (Framing Level 1, Aluminum and Siding Level 1, Bricklaying Level 1, Woodturning Level 1 etc.) that are related to residential construction and woodworking.

Organized Kaos also offers Open Shop, which is a drop-in style night to maintain consistency with our students.

OK offers a Rewards program, which provides youth with physical tools after set amount of shop hours. For example, 25 shop hours= a tape measure. Our students meet their mentor at a local store, buy the tool, and then head to a local coffee shop to chat.
