Park Avenue Christian Church

Park Avenue Christian Church, a historic Disciples of Christ congregation now also affiliated with United Church of Christ, has grown from the faithful nine who gathered around a kitchen table in Lower Manhattan to the hundreds who today gather on the Upper East Side to worship and serve.

Here at The Park we like to offer a “radical welcome” to all comers. Regardless of where you come from or where you happen to be on life’s journey, you are welcome here.

What that means is that you won’t be in a place where everyone looks alike or thinks alike or acts alike. Our community is made up of people who come from all over the world, all over the country and all over the city. But we have all decided to live out our Christian journey in this place – whatever form that might take.

So we hope that you will take an hour on Sunday morning to come and experience that radical welcome from yourself. And we hope you will let us know how we are doing.
