    We provide essential literacy learning opportunities through 1 on 1 and small group settings for adults to enrich their lives and ultimately the community we serve.

    About Us

    The South Central Literacy Council provides adult basic education to help individuals improve reading, writing, math, English language skills, and digital literacy. We offer 1:1 and small group instruction, ensuring each learner gets personalized support.

    Our Programs
    • 1:1 Tutoring for literacy, ESL, and HSE preparation.
    • ESL Conversation Classes to improve speaking and comprehension.
    • High School Equivalency (HSE) Prep for GED success.
    • Digital Literacy Workshops teaching essential technology skills.
    • Workplace & Community Readiness to support job and life skills.
