Rena’s mission is to provide high quality early care and education to low income families in school districts 3, 4, 5, and 6; empower families as advocates, educators, and primary caregivers; provide staff with resources and professional learning opportunities to support their roles as educators; and work with our community partners to identify resources that enable the families and staff to support children as lifelong learners.
Rena helps lay the foundation for school and life readiness and is contracted by the New York City Department of Education Division of Early Childhood Education to serve 747 children ages 2.6 months- 4 years within center-based and OCFS-DOHMH licensed DOE Affiliated Family Child Care homes.
