Youth on Board

Youth on Board has forged partnerships between youth and adults to create positive educational communities in which young people are valued, engaged, and heard. During the past eight years, we have focused on bringing student voice and engagement to the forefront of the educational movement on a national level. Locally, we have formed unique partnerships with both the Boston Public School (BPS) district and independent youth advocates throughout the city. Our goal is to have youth engagement interwoven into the structure of schools, encouraging a cultural shift that creates respectful and mutually supportive learning communities both inside and outside of the classroom.
