Broadway for Arts Education, Inc.

Broadway for Arts Education (BAE) is an NYC-based nonprofit organization that uses arts education to dismantle systemic barriers to success for underserved youth. Partnering with the Broadway community, schools, and organizations around the world, BAE acts as a catalyst for change and social impact. BAE's curriculum empowers youth to achieve their potential, engage in real-world issues, and become life-long learners and active participants in their communities.

BAE programming is a combination of process-oriented and project-based learning. We are equipping the next generation with the social-emotional learning skills associated with the performing arts: curiosity and creativity, risk-taking and boundary setting, advocating for self and for others, sense of self-worth and future potential, and more. Using low-stress opportunities for high-level artistic excellence, our programs give youth the opportunity to perform alongside Broadway and professional artists while exploring and addressing problems, issues, or topics that are relevant to students’ lives, or exist in the professional world the students will soon enter.
