    SLAMT1D’s mission is to improve the lives of people living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) through active games and sports. Our tournaments and events: broaden T1D awareness and public involvement; accelerate and improve T1D education; connect the T1D community; raise funds for T1D programs and organizations; help children with T1D to attend camps and participate in sports activities and programs; and promote and support activities and sports programs for adults with T1D.

    About Us

    SlamT1D, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to changing the game for people with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). We host grassroots sports tournaments that empower T1Ders to live life in full despite this lethal, life-altering autoimmune disease. Contributions help SlamT1D broaden awareness about T1D, fund T1D camps, camperships, educational programs, peer-to-peer support, and mentoring opportunities for T1Ders of all ages. Our camp program includes the Vermont Overnight Camp, Vermont's only overnight camp for kids with T1D. Our unique sports tournaments combine a Big League vibe with backyard grassroots intimacy that has attracted thousands of players, participants, and supporters. SlamT1D Wiffle Ball tournaments are played in miniature, modular stadiums modeled after iconic parks like Fenway, Yankee, and Wrigley and use a creative PowerRanking point system of fundraising that adds the fun, competitive vibe and ensures annual revenue growth.
