  • About Us

PHACT is a non-profit Clinical Research Organization (“CRO”), dedicated to conducting clinical trials for products to treat diseases that affect underprivileged people in developing countries. The company’s goal is to provide high quality, yet very cost-effective services to non-profit organizations and for-profit companies who are developing health products that target diseases disproportionately affecting these people. PHACT hopes to help address the 10/90 gap – that only 10% of research funding is targeted towards diseases that account for 90% of the global disease burden. Since there are generally no viable commercial markets for these products, there is little capital investment available, resulting in limited funding. Companies developing these products need reliable, yet cost effective clinical trial support.
