116Kids After-School Enrichment

116Kids After-School Enrichment is an after-school program for all students in grades preK-5 at PS116 in midtown Manhattan. We provide a fun, safe space for children to learn, grow, and PLAY after school. Our diverse selection of recreational and instructional classes focuses on playtime, downtime, and enrichment that will spark imagination and creativity in your children. With 116Kids, parents can be confident that their children are learning and playing in a safe and supportive environment after-school every day that PS116 is in session. 

We offer an extensive range of activities tailored to elementary school children that will spark your child’s curiosity, interest, and attention. Our students will hone their talents or discover new interests, all while having fun and making friends. With classes in sports, art, drama, and STEM, your children will have exciting options to choose from each day. Children are grouped by age, and sometimes by level and ability. Our classes are led by PS116 teachers and outside instructors. 

116Kids After-School Enrichment was founded by PTA Members in 2016 and is run by the PTA of PS116. 116Kids is not affiliated with the New York City Department of Education. It is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that works in partnership with PS116 to provide enrichment opportunities to students every school day from dismissal until 6:00pm. Our program serves students in pre-K through 5th grade. All proceeds from our program directly support the program and PS116. Scholarships are available to families in need.
