TCAC Connect Ability
Tennessee's Community Assistance Corporation (TCAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building stronger communities by working together. TCAC helps other non-profit organizations, service based agencies and public housing authorities to meet the needs of thousands of very low-income Tennessee residents that live in poverty.
TCAC AmeriCorps VISTA project Connect Ability accepts requests for concept papers from agencies that serve people with developmental, intellectual and physical disabilities. The priority focus areas for the Connect Ability VISTA project are health/nutrition, job preparedness, school to work. Our mission is to increase employability, prevent homelessness and promote the reintergration of disabled Veterans and people with disabilities.
TCAC AmeriCorps State program Community Cares serves people that are frail, challenged and disabled with home and health service to improve their quailty of life and allow them to remain living independently in their own homes.
