South Shore Mission Hub

Brockton, MA

About Us

The South Shore Mission Hub will provide support services for at-risk / high-risk youth and young adults in the region. These services will primarily involve:

1)    establishing transitional housing for young adults who have aged out of the state’s foster care system in partnership with existing programs;

2)    structured youth programs through the auspices of the Boys’ & Girls Brigade in Brockton, including traditional Brigade activities and after-school programming.

The Mission Hub will work closely with the foster care community, the community at large, deanery parishes, and other local resources -- including schools and social workers – to identify eligible and promising children for these programs. The goal is to use our love, time, and energy to provide safe, positive environments that will allow these children and young adults to – as America’s Promise says – “succeed academically, socially, and civically.”
