    The Harmony Food Pantry (HFP) is a part of Harmony Community Cares – a nonprofit located in the North Lawndale neighborhood in Chicago. The Pantry was founded by Rev. James Brooks, Sr. and has a 14 year history of expanding its impact on reducing food insecurity in the community.  

     In 2020 the Harmony Food Pantry served 13,467 households - an average of 300 per week. HFP processes an average value of $840,000 worth of food from Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD) per year and is in the top twenty food pantries supplied by GCFD.
