About Us

The Town Hall’s mission is to present quality artistic performances for diverse audiences at affordable prices; to provide educational performances for youth at the Hall as well as outreach programs in schools and underserved communities throughout New York City; and to preserve The Town Hall’s historic and acoustically perfect auditorium for future generations.

The Town Hall (www.the-townhall-nyc.org) is a landmarked, non-profit concert hall, located in the Times Square area, offering eclectic programming and perfect acoustics in an intimate 1,500-seat auditorium. The Hall produces its own season of Broadway/cabaret, jazz, world music, spoken word and dance performances for general audiences; serves as a rental venue for a broad range of performing artists; provides Arts-in-Education programming for New York City schoolchildren; and provides community services, including ticket giveaway rental subsidy programs. In addition, The Town Hall is the Lead Community Partner in a theater-themed New Century high school, the Bronx High School for Performance & Stagecraft.
