Youth Media & Communication Initiative

Mission statement The mission of Youth Media & Communication Initiative include:  Facilitating the expansion of communication infrastructure to children/youths in Nigeria and increasing their access to comprehensive information about their rights.  Building the capacity of children/youths to utilize communication resources and increasing their capacity to articulate and critically analyze issues that impact on their lives and the nation.  Increasing the participation of children/youths in the promotion of child rights and preparing children/youths to effectively participate in activities aimed at realizing their rights through the use of the media.  Building communication capacity in children/youth NGOs and community groups to encourage their full participation in national development.  Initiating legislation on issues that affect children/youths.
