  • About Us

itizens for East Shore Parks (CESP) is a non-profit environmental group whose mission is to create a necklace of shoreline parks along the East Bay shoreline. CESP worked for 20 years for the creation of the Eastshore State Park, which was dedicated on October 4, 2006, as a 2002 acre - extending along the shoreline from the Bay Bridge in Oakland to just north of Point Isabel in Richmond.

We achieve our goals through education, public outreach and collaboration with public agencies and communities.
