About Us

The Fulton Area Business (FAB) Alliance is a Business Improvement District (BID) which began operations in October 2009. Started in 2005 as the Fulton Area Business Association, the alliance brings together property owners, residents and stakeholders along Fulton Street in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, NY. 100% of the funds collected in BID assessments are returned to the area in the form of services that provide direct benefits. FAB provides supplemental sanitation services, addresses public safety and quality-of-life issues, manages graffiti-removal efforts, advocates on behalf of its members with city agencies and organizations, develops marketing events and public relations initiatives that bring awareness to Fulton Street and its diverse range of businesses, drives foot traffic to those businesses and has business attraction and retention efforts to help reduce vacancies and increase the vibrancy of the street life. Also, in its 3-years of operations FAB has initiated several street scape improvement projects in the district to make the pedestrian experience more inviting and welcoming
