Action Ministries, Inc

Established in 1963, Action Ministries is an ecumenical 501(c)3 nonprofit organization uniting people of all faiths who are called to serve. Action Ministries has become a leader in ministering to people in need and mobilizing communities to tackle the challenges of poverty. Located in 50 counties throughout North Georgia, Action Ministries administers programs such as emergency financial assistance, hunger relief, transitional and permanent supportive housing, job placement, GED programs, addiction recovery for homeless women, and after-school education for homeless children. We have offices in Athens, Atlanta, Augusta, Gainesville, Rome, Decatur.
