About Us

Since its founding in 1953, The Paris Review has been America’s preeminent literary quarterly, dedicated to discovering the best new voices in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual art. The mission of The Paris Review, which was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2003, has always been twofold: to foster the development of creative individuals as writers and artists, and to promote public appreciation of excellence in the literary and graphic arts.
