Whiskers Rescue Foundation's mission is to enhance and better the lives of animals.

    About Us

Whiskers Rescue Foundation was founded in May of 2016 as a North Carolina nonprofit organization. The organization has obtained 501c3 federal exemption status.

WRF was formed by Alice Hinson Singh in order to address the needs of animals in the Yadkin County area. Since 2011, Alice has assisted the community in raising funds and awareness of local animal clinics and shelters. She has worked with veterinarians to give out discounted medical vouchers and referred services when needed. Networking with the community, she has been able to hold a very successful fundraiser, Whiskers & Wine Summer Social, in previous years which benefit local animal rescue nonprofit organizations. Now, she has started her very own nonprofit.

Whiskers Rescue Foundation is Alice's dream idea of what the local North Carolina communities need in order to "enhance and better the lives of animals." With programs providing housing to animals in cold seasons, unchaining dogs with fence builds, issuing medical and spay/neuter vouchers, and many more programs to come with an ultimate goal of opening our very own facility. In the future, the WRF facility will house all programs while also adding medical care, grooming, and rescue housing by our own staff and volunteers.
