    Our mission is to embrace families of sick or injured children by providing the comfort and support of home during their greatest time of need. Families are stronger when they are together, and this is never more important than when a child is experiencing a medical crisis.

    About Us

    RMHC of Greater Charlotte is a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children from across the Carolinas and the country, who are receiving medical treatment at hospitals in Charlotte, North Carolina. During short-term or extended hospital stays, the House will provide a safe haven for families to rest, eat and find support from one another and the community as they cope with their children’s medical needs. We work alongside local hospitals, Hemby Children's and Levine Children's. RMHC of GC currently offers three family programs, the Ronald McDonald House, the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Caroline's Corner, and our Happy Wheels hospitality carts.
