  • About Us

At Students Against Period Poverty we pride ourselves on alleviating impoverished menstruators from period poverty in our communities. Our nonprofit was founded in April of 2020 as a community group to combat the lack of awareness of period poverty during the pandemic and slowly grew to a full-fledged nonprofit where we are now. Today, we've expanded to 3 chapters across the Bay Area (Fremont; Milpitas; and Cupertino) while offering a wide range of services from volunteer programs for volunteers to create menstrual care packages and letters for shelters (tinyurl.com/cappitguide), anonymous grab-n-go menstrual item pickups in the SF Bay Area, menstrual health lessons to schools, a period product request form, and more!
