Chinese Fine Arts Society

  • About Us

Founded by Barbara Tiao in 1984, the Chinese Fine Arts Society (CFAS) is dedicated to promoting the understanding of Chinese culture through music and other fine arts.. For 25 years, we have been the leading champion of Chinese music in Chicago – from traditional to contemporary. Our programs have increased and enhanced the canon of Chinese classical music and arts, inspiring both young musicians and professionals to explore and expand their experience past traditional art forms, simultaneously enriching their awareness of China’s cultural heritage, both old and new. The Chinese Fine Arts Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization supported by individual, foundation, governmental and corporate donors. www.chinesefinearts.org
