Every 1 Reads

In September 2003, Greater Louisville Inc., Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) and Metro Louisville kicked off an ambitious reading initiative called Every 1 Reads: a community-wide effort to have every child in JCPS reading at grade level within four years.

With your support, we will succeed in making sure Every 1 Reads! JCPS has projected that we will need at least 10,000 volunteer tutors over the next four years, as well as 2,500 additional volunteer mentors for middle and high school students.
