What we do:
We see our role as Servant Leaders who sit at your table listening to and supporting individuals, families and communities who want to work together to increase intergenerational wealth and community cohesion. The Network is focusing on one root causes rather than ameliorating the symptoms.
Progress to date:
The Network was granted 501(c)3 status in Jul 2024 We are mindful that faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase. Nevertheless, in February 2025, we established a project called shop Black shop local that encourages shoppers to shop at local Black owned businesses. This included setting up a website resource that lists over 100 businesses and allows shoppers to participate in research that provides empirical evidence about the effectiveness of the project.
