  • Mission

    Volunteer Services works to recruit and train volunteers to increase adoptions of animals housed at the Stockton Animal Shelter by providing social, behavioral, and physical care as well as facilitating outreach and educational activities promoting animal welfare to visitors of the shelter and in the community.

    About Us

    Stockton Animal Shelter working with the San Francisco SPCA provides support and care to the homeless animals of Stockton and the San Joaquin County. Volunteers can assist the companion animals at the shelter through a variety of duties ranging from laundry to walking dogs to bottle feeding kittens to assisting in adoptions. Volunteer orientations are held monthly. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
