  • About Us

The Japan Multicultural Relief Fund (JMRF), a U.S.-based grantmaking program, was jointly established by Japan Pacific Resource Network (JPRN) andEclipse Rising in March 2011 in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. JMRF is dedicated to the empowerment and leadership by and for members of the vulnerable communities (Single Mothers, Children with Disabilities, LGBTQ, Chinese migrant workers, Filipinas, Koreans...etc) in the process of reconstruction in the disaster-struck region and transformation of Japan as a more inclusive and multicultural society. In order to continue supporting the grassroots efforts, we are currently looking for a grant search volunteer. We guarantee that this will be also a great opportunity for those who major in Ethnic Studies and Social Science to contribute to social change!
