The Asylum Project
Mission
"The Asylum Project is a grassroots initiative that empowers at-risk Americans--especially LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and disabled individuals--to seek safety abroad by providing guidance, support, and community for those facing persecution at home."
About Us
The Asylum Project is a grassroots nonprofit working to help at-risk Americans-especially LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and disabled individuals-escape persecution and find safety abroad. We are building a network of guidance, resources, and support for those seeking to relocate from the U.S. to more secure and affirming environments. Currently in the early stages of development, we are powered by lived experience, volunteer dedication, and a shared commitment to making safety possible when systems don’t.
