WILG - Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group is a national nonprofit organization [of attorneys] representing the interests of millions of workers and their families who, each year, suffer the consequences of work-related injuries or occupational illnesses...and who need expert legal assistance to obtain medical care and other relief under workers' compensation programs at the State and Federal levels. You may use the free/no-cost Internet search engine at www.WILG.org for help in locating an attorney in your area; just click on the button labeled "Find An Attorney". If yours is a Federal claim, be sure to read the information on the home page in the left-hand column, also. (Note: please do not call, fax, or mail information to the WILG office in Washington, DC as no legal assistance can be provided. Instead, you will need to review your situation directly with an attorney who is experienced in workers' comp matters.) Plaintiffs' attorneys [only] may become members by contacting WILG. In addition, there is an annual CLE conference that members and non-member attorneys may attend. Information on membership benefits may be found on the website. In addition, researchers, legislators, and others may review published articles in the "Workers' First Watch" (WFW) magazine, also found on the website.
