Venturing Out

  • About Us

Entrepreneurship 101 (E101) is Venturing Out's comprehensive introductory course on entrepreneurship that was developed for incarcerated adults in Massachusetts.

E101 provides its students with valuable business life skills with the goal of enabling the creation of viable businesses, improving employment options, and reducing recidivism.

In 2012, we expect to serve scores of students at correctional facilities throughout the greater Boston area.

We rely on the support of volunteers to continue our work. Our classes are taught by experienced entrepreneurs and small business owners; artists and students help us with our website and promotional materials; and corporations provide in-kind donations and funding so that we can cover our operational costs.
