About Us

The National Conference of Black Mayors (NCBM) is an organization engafted in the heart of community redevelopment. Crafted to serve as a collective voice for African American local leaders, we strive daily towards empowering the communities we live and serve in. With a girth of 650 African American Mayors and their 48 million citizens, NCBM has branded its position domestically and internationally as a leader in the redevelopment of our most vulnerable communities. We continue to serve as the impetus that our mayoral membership uses to rally support towards overcoming the grappling issues that erode the vitality and sustainabilty of communities worldwide. The organization has evolved since its inception, into a conduit as Black Mayors worldwide are building bridges towards eradicating the disparities that have often existed within our communities: thereby becoming Ambassador's of Goodwill.
