About Us

The National School Climate Center (NSCC) is a national non-profit with a global footprint. We are a pioneer in the advancement of positive learning environments as a means of supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being. Since 1997, we have worked with over 3,000 schools to create learning environments where adults and students collaborate to make the school community feel included, safe and engaged. Through our programs and services, we help schools recognize the significance of school-based relationships, leadership opportunities, and experiences that will guide and support students in becoming healthy and productive citizens.  And, we conduct the relevant research, development, and outreach to ensure school communities have access to the latest high-quality, practice-informed and evidenced-based school climate information and resources available. You can learn more about our mission, impact and services at www.schoolclimate.org.All children deserve to have the skills and knowledge necessary for them to lead healthy, caring, responsible and productive lives.
