    ECBACC, Inc., a 501(c)(3) community-based educational, literacy, literary and artistic consortium, was established in Philadelphia, PA in 2002 to provide a network of talented comic book creators and artists interested in addressing issues related to art, education, literacy and self-esteem.

    About Us

    ECBACC hosts / facilitates several initiatives, among them: an annual convention in Philadelphia showcasing African American comic book creators, filmmakers and graphic artists; professional comic book creation workshops focusing on skill development and enhancement; & city-wide workshops for school-age children promoting creativity, education and self-esteem through the use of comic book art and story-telling.
