    The Institute for Family-Centered Care, Inc. d/b/a Institute for Patient- and Family-Centered Care (IPFCC), based in Bethesda, MD, is a 501(c)(3), founded in 1992. IPFCC provides essential leadership to advance the understanding and practice of patient- and family-centered care, by promoting collaborative, empowering relationships among patients, families, and health care professionals, IPFCC facilitates patient- and family-centered change in all health care settings where individuals and families receive care and support.
