  • About Us

Pioneers Youth Leadership is a learning-through-action high school leadership program that develops today’s student leaders and tomorrow’s community leaders. By giving high school students leadership training and experience with a focus on effecting positive change in their own community, we prepare them to be more effective community leaders.

This is our second year of operations. The first year, we had 19 students in the program from Real County. This year, we have 120 students in the program from 10 counties in the greater San Antonio area - Uvalde, Dimmit, Zavala, La Salle, Kinney, Real, Edwards, Kimble, Mason and Menard. Our goal is to expand the program to 1,500 students in 100 counties within 5 years.
